Instructions
Head west after defeating Gannondorf and proceed through the door. Continue to the far west of the next room and enter the door. Stand on the podium to save your game and replenish your damage meter. Return to the room you fought Gannondorf in.
Press "Up" to open the large door in the center of the room and enter Tabuu's domain.
Choose five characters to bring into battle. Use Peach, Marth, Zelda and any other smaller characters who perform quick air attacks.
Stand in the center of the platform as Tabuu teleports back and forth across the area.
Watch for Tabuu to reach his hands behind his back. Run under him and behind his back. After he launches the fireballs, jump up and attack him twice. Return back to the center of the platform.
Jump over Tabuu when he flies towards you. Don't try to attack him after his flight.
Retreat to the opposite side of the platform whenever Tabuu backs up or fires lasers at you. Jump to dodge the projectiles.
Activate your shield and press "down" to roll around the platform, staying low enough to avoid any of Tabuu's high attacks.
Move in for an attack directly after any projectile attack of Tabuu. Move away after the attack to avoid being hit by his close-up attack.
Run towards Tabuu when he grows into a large head. Jump up and towards his face when you reach just before his nose. Attack as you move through the air. Press "Up" and any attack button to give yourself an extra boost into the air to continue your attacks.
Land as close to the edge of the platform as possible to avoid Tabuu's attacks in his large form.
Continue attacking and retreating to whittle Tabuu's health bar. When it has fully depleted, he will be defeated.
