How to Wall Climb in the Bigs on the Wii

The Bigs is a baseball video game for the Nintendo Wii console, which utilizes the console's motion sensor controls to emulate batting, pitching and catching. Gamers take turns in a game playing all offensive and defensive positions, including controlling any outfielders. While on defense, you can motion the Wii remote at the right time and perform a "wall climb" move, which allows you to jump over a fenced area and catch a potential home run.

Instructions

    • 1

Start the game in any mode where you can control the players when playing defense. After pitching the ball, you need to have control of all other players on the defensive side.

    • 2

Wait for the opposing team to hit a ball that goes near the fenced area of the outfield. The ball that was hit must be approaching a home run for you to catch it using a wall climb move.

    • 3

Press the "Z" button on your Wii Nunchuk controller to switch between players in the outfield. Switch to the player that is closest to the ball that was hit.

    • 4

Move your player towards the ball using the control stick on the Wii Nunchuk controller. Move the player as close to the fencing as possible before the ball approaches.

    • 5

Press the "A" button on your Wii remote and move your Wii remote down quickly at the same time, as soon as the ball reaches the area above the fencing. You will perform a wall climb and you should catch the ball--if you do the move on time.
