How to Throw a Curveball in Wii Sports

Wii Sports features four games: tennis, baseball, boxing and golf. Wii Sports is different than many other sports games because of the Nintendo Wii's use of the Wii Remote rather than a standard controller. Using the Wii Remote allows you to interact with the game, giving you more control over your actions. In the baseball game in Wii Sports, there are several different pitches you can throw. The curveball is a classic pitch meant to deceive the batter.

     Press and hold the "B" button on the Wii Remote when you are at the pitcher's mound.

     Thrust the Wii Remote forward while continuing to hold the button.

     View the curveball. If performed correctly, the ball veers off to the opposite side of the batter as it approaches home plate.
