"Tenchu: Shadow Assassins"
"Tenchu: Shadow Assassins" takes place in feudal-era Japan and puts you in control of two skilled ninjas, Rikimaru and Ayame. You'll switch off between the pair as you assassinate targets in over 10 missions. As you take out samurai guards, you'll have to carefully time your attacks and use a variety of weapons such as shuriken and smoke bombs, as well as different hand-to-hand combat moves. In addition to the 10 main missions, you can embark on several side quests, adding to the game's longevity.
"Splinter Cell: Double Agent"
"Splinter Cell: Double Agent" puts you in control of highly skilled United States secret agent Sam Fisher as he completes a series of undercover missions against terrorist forces. Like other Tom Clancy games, "Splinter Cell: Double Agent" features numerous plot twists as Sam Fisher must try to blend in as part of a terrorist organization and deal with issues of moral conflict. As you sneak through stealth missions against the terrorists, you'll need to stay hidden to avoid blowing your cover. Fortunately, Sam Fisher has several helpful tools at his disposal such as tactical night vision goggles, acrobatic abilities, hand-to-hand combat training and an array of weapons.
"Manhunt 2"
In "Manhunt 2" you take on the role of an escaped mental patient who has to rely on stealth to progress through the story and discover the truth about his amnesia. While you'll need to hide in the shadows since protagonist Daniel isn't an adept fighter, the game does feature scores of brutal violence. When you sneak up on an enemy, you can kill him in a variety of gruesome ways, including using weapons, bare hands or environmental objects like manhole covers. You'll be able to smash lights to give yourself an advantage when you're in areas without any shadows to creep about them. Ambient noise also plays a role, as the sound of music or heavy machinery can cover up the sound of Daniel's footfalls as he creeps through a level.
