Dirt Bike Games for the Wii

The Nintendo Wii gaming console brings gaming to an ever-widening market of players. Sports enthusiasts who are fond of getting down and dirty with motocross and dirt bikes can find an array of titles that feature realistic physics and offer a way to ride during the downtime between trips. The games also offer the basics of the dirt bike experience for gamers new to the sport.
  1. Nitro Bike

    • Up to four players may challenge the dirt tracks of Nitro Bike on one Wii and up to six online players may slog it out through the Nintendo WiFi connection. Nitro Bike focuses heavily on the pure power of nitrous-fueled racers, enabling rocket boosts that give massive air and allow players to quickly catch up to one another on challenging tracks. The game has 20 separate tracks and over 60 different events available, including a motocross bowling challenge.

    Yamaha Supercross

    • Yamaha Supercross puts players in control of a Team Yamaha racer running against opposing teams on dirt motocross tracks. Each track features its own combination of sky-high leaps, dangerous weather conditions and deep bogging mud pits. Supercross bases each bike on actual Yamaha products and enhanced physics show the difference between models. Up to two players may play at a time and WiFi connectivity is absent from this title.

    MX vs ATV

    • The question of who rules the dirt is finally addressed in MX vs ATV. This title pits racers of both motocross bikes and all-terrain vehicles head-to-head on rugged dirt tracks designed to test the limits of each machine and its handler. Unlockable bonuses include off-road trucks and utility terrain vehicles that can be used to challenge even the best MX or ATV on its home turf. Up to 12 players may compete online for dirt track supremacy, or up to four on the same Wii.
