How to Convert Wii to PC Format

Dolphin is a Nintendo Wii emulator that allows you to play your legally bought Wii games on your computer. Your Wii games will run on Dolphin nearly as well as they run on the Wii itself. Copying your Wii games to your PC to play them can be done only by a few programs because only a few programs can bypass the Wii's copy protection.

Things You'll Need

Instructions

  1. Super Dump

    • 1

Download Super Dump from the Resources section of this guide. Install the software after it is finished installing.

    • 2

Insert your Nintendo Wii game DVD into your computer drive. Open Super Dump and the program will automatically read the Wii disk.

    • 3

Click onto "Start Dump" button and your Wii game will be saved to a temporary location. It will need to be in ISO format, so click onto "Convert Raw to .ISO" when the program finishes dumping the disk.

    • 4

Use your ISO file with the Dolphin Wii emulator.

    Game Copy Wizard

    • 5

Download and install "Game Copy Wizard" from the Resources section of this guide. It costs $29.99, but it comes with unlimited updates.

    • 6

Insert your Wii game into your PC drive and wait as the PC reads the disk. Open Game Copy Wizard and it will immediately recognize the disk.

    • 7

Click the "Copy" button and select a location on your computer to save the ISO file. Click the "Save" button and your Wii game disk will be copied to your computer. It will then be playable on the Dolphin Wii emulator.
