How to Play Mortal Kombat Armageddon on the Wii

Controls for the Nunchuk/Remote Style

  Insert Mortal Kombat: Armageddon into your Nintendo Wii. Attach the nunchuk to your Wii Remote. Use the remote to select Mortal Kombat: Armageddon from the Wii's main screen. Wait for the game to load.

  Start a new game and select a character.

  Press the left direction pad button on your Wii Remote to perform "Attack 1." Attack 1 will vary from character to character; experiment with different characters.

  Press the up directional pad button on your Wii Remote to perform "Attack 2."

  Press the down directional pad button on your Wii Remote to perform "Attack 3."

  Press the right directional pad button on your Wii Remote to perform "Attack 4."

  Block enemy attacks by pressing the "Z" button located on the front of your nunchuk underneath the "C" button.

  Change fighting styles (from hand-to-hand to weapons or to a different hand-to-hand style depending on the character you chose) by pressing the "C" button on the front of your nunchuk.

  Throw opponents by pressing the "A" button on your Wii Remote.

  Move your nunchuk forward and press the "Z" button to perform a "special" attack called a "breaker" attack.

  Move your nunchuk backward and press "Z" to parry attacks.

Controls for a GameCube Controller

  Insert Mortal Kombat: Armageddon into your Nintendo Wii. Open the GameCube controller slot on the side of your Wii and insert a GameCube controller into Slot 1. Use the controller's directional pad to select the Mortal Kombat: Armageddon game from the Wii main menu; start a new game and select a character.

  Press "B" to perform Attack 1. Press "Y" to perform Attack 2. Press "A" to perform Attack 3. Press "X" to perform Attack 4.

  Block by pressing the "R" button.

  Change styles by pressing "L."

  Press the "Z" button to throw opponents. Perform the breaker move by moving forward (using the left or right direction pad buttons depending on which way your character is facing) and pressing "R." Parry by moving backward and pressing "R."
