How to Connect Nintendo Wii to a Ralink WiFi

Ralink Technology, Corp. is a Wi-Fi chip manufacturer responsible for the chipset which allows the Nintendo Wii to connect to the Internet via a home computer. The Nintendo Wi-Fi USB Connector is a small device based on this technology. Users can go online to access community content and downloadable games. Connecting the Nintendo Wii to a Ralkink Wi-Fi isn't difficult, and can be done in a relatively short amount of time.

  Turn on your PC. Put in the CD that came with the USB connector. Follow the instructions that appear on the monitor.

  Plug in the Wi-Fi USB Connector when prompted.

  Look at the icon (small circle) sitting on the bottom right side of your desktop. This is the registration icon. Click the icon.

  Put a game disc into your Nintendo Wii. You'll see "Connection Setup." Choose the option "Connect to your Nintendo Wi-Fi USB Connector." Look at your PC. Select "Grant permission" on your PC.
