Games That Use the Wii Fit Balance Board

The Wii Balance Board is often mistakenly referred to as ̶0;Wii Fit̶1; which is actually the name of the game that the balance board was first introduced with. The board is a separate accessory for the Nintendo Wii game console and you can, in fact, play a large selection of Wii titles with the balance board. The titles range from party games to serious exercise games that recreate the home gym.

Imagine Party Babyz
- Take babysitting to a whole new level with ̶0;Imagine Party Babyz." In this game, players perform various activities with babies including changing diapers, playing games, and putting them to sleep. The balance board is used for certain activities such chasing the baby around in this title.
Wii Fit Plus
- ̶0;Wii Fit Plus̶1; includes everything in the original ̶0;Wii Fit̶1; game, plus extended exercise levels, fitness activities and new games. The board is used extensively throughout the game and can track weight and growth for the whole family with created Mii character profiles.
EA SPORTS Active
- ̶0;EA SPORTS Active̶1; expands on the Wii̵7;s use as a fitness tool. Players use the board, along with a packaged resistance band to exercise and build a fitness profile. The game features a ̶0;30 Day Challenge̶1; where players set goals they try to achieve playing the game.
Skate It
- Turn the balance board into a replica skateboard with ̶0;Skate it.̶1; The game features multiple levels and tricks that players can duplicate on the board. The combination with the Wii remote takes a little while to get used to, but the game provides a lot of action and realistic skateboarding moves.
Avatar: The Game
- The big budget movie has been adapted into an in-depth game for the Wii and the balance board comes into play when in two-player games. The objective of the game is to enter the world of Avatar and pose as an alien to infiltrate and take down the other aliens on the planet. The second player uses the balance board to travel around the screen, ride on animals or drive vehicles around.
Ringling Bros. and Barnum & Bailey Circus
- Dreams of joining a circus come to life in this interactive game that recreates some of the circus̵7; greatest stunts and activities. The balance board is used for tight-rope walking, acrobats and an elephant romp game among others. Win circus prizes and unlock extras within the game.
Mountain Sports
- ̶0;Mountain Sports̶1; features six different winter games and five of them are compatible with the balance board. This includes tobogganing, bobsledding, skiing, snowboarding and a biathlon. Players shift their weight on the balance board to adjust to various levels and earn their way to the World Championship.
