Instructions for the Game Cars on Wii

"Cars" is a video game adaptation of the popular Pixar film of the same name. Players can control all their favorite cars from the movie as they compete in exciting races and fun minigames. One of the most notable features of the game is the ability to use the Wii remote to steer.
  1. Instructions For Playing

    • The way "Cars" is played depends on whether you are using a Wii Remote or a Wii Remote with an attached Nunchuk controller.

      When using a Wii Remote:

      To power slide, tilt the control pad to the right.
      To brake, hit the "A" button.
      To reverse, hold the "A" button.
      To employ your emergency brake, hit the "B" button.
      To select an event target while playing the Story Mode, tap the "B" button.
      To reset to the Track screen while in a race, press the "-" button.
      To pause the game, press the "+" button.
      To use a boost, press the "1" button.
      To accelerate, press the "2" button.
      To steer, hold the remote horizontally and tilt it as though it were a steering wheel.
      To jump, quickly raise the remote as if making it jump.
      To perform a quick 180-degree stop, press "B" while sharply turning.

      The controls are the same when using a Nunchuk, but it also can be used with these inputs:

      To steer, use the control stick.
      To brake, press the "C" button.
      To reverse, hold the "C" button.
      To accelerate, press the "Z" button.
