Things You'll Need
Instructions
Batting
Hold the Wii remote in both hands as you would a baseball bat. Turn your body to the right if you're right-handed and to the left if you're left-handed. Make sure to wear the remote's wrist strap.
Swing the remote to hit the ball when the baseball is just about to cross the plate. Adjust the timing of your swing if you find that you are swinging too early or too late.
Swing the remote in a downward motion to hit a ground ball and in an upward motion to hit a fly ball.
Hold the remote in front of your body to bunt. Keep the remote still, or the game will register the movement as a swing.
Pitching
Hold the Wii remote in your throwing hand, and swing the remote overhand as if you were pitching a ball. The speed of the pitch corresponds to the speed of your movement.
Press left or right on the directional pad to throw an inside or an outside pitch.
Press and hold the "A" button to throw a curveball, the "B" button to throw a screwball and the "A" and "B" buttons together to throw a splitter. If you do not press any buttons, you will pitch a fastball.
Press and hold the "2" button to pitch underhand. Press the "1" button to return to throwing overhand.
