How to Get to the Tidal Pool in Sims on Wii

Beginning with Part III of your adventures as an island adventurer in the Wii version of Sims 2 Castaway, you'll have access to Volcano Island. It is here that you'll begin your quest for treasure, and on your way locate the Tidal Pool, a body of water that serves as both a clue to your continuing quest as well as a place to swim and fish. Reaching this oasis will require your Sim to have a sufficient body skill, after which you can make the initial dive into the Tidal Pool.

Instructions

- 1
  Level up your Sim's body skill to at least ten. This can be down by having your Sim perform physical tasks such as finding resources and climbing trees.

  Travel to the Volcano Island. You can launch off the Ancient Pier by building a canoe, which is only available after you reach level ten body skill.

  Move up the Cliff Trail from the beach of Volcano Island. You will come across the Geyser Plains. From this area, head to the Ancient Door, which will lead into the Llama Temple. Proceed through the door.

  Proceed to the opposite side of the temple and out to the Temple Exterior. As you proceed through the outside of the temple, you will reach a portal. There is only one direction to travel in this area, so don't worry about getting lost.

  Enter the portal, and you will be transported to the Ancient Theater. Once here, proceed down from the portal until you reach the ceremonial platform.

  Highlight the ceremonial platform with your Wii Remote and press "A" to examine it.You will be given the option to dive into the Tidal Pool. Confirm, and your Sim will perform a swan dive into the area below.

  Examine the shark in the Tidal Pool to capture him. Your increased body skill will allow you to complete this task and make the area safe for return trips by your Sims.

  Return to the Tidal Pool at any time by traveling back to the Ancient Theater and diving to the area below.
