How to Play Wii Dance

Wii Dance is a game that is played much like Simon Says, where gamers will step on the Wii Dance Mat in the specific locations as displayed on the TV screen. Various games use the Wii Dance format, which make use of the Wii Dance Mat. In Wario Ware: Smooth Moves, gamers use Wario to play dancing mini-games. Various versions of Dance Dance Revolution have been created for the Wii, which also use the Wii Dance Mat but do not make use of the Wii controllers.

Instructions

  Press the "On" button located on the Wii controller or the Wii console.

  Insert the Wii Dance game disc and connect the Wii Dance Mat. The Wii Dance Mat is connected on a hidden top panel of the Wii console. Flip the hidden panel open and plug the dance mat into one of the four Nintendo Game Cube controller spots.

  Press the symbol on the dance mat that is being displayed on the TV screen. While playing one of the Wii Dance games, nine different symbols can be displayed on the TV screen: Up, down, left, right, center and each corner of the dance mat. Each time a symbol is displayed on the TV screen, the gamer has a short amount of time to step on the same symbol on the dance mat.

  Press the "Start" button on the Wii controller to pause the Wii Dance game and chose options from the menu.

  The games can be zoomed in by pressing the "-" button on the controller and zoomed out by pressing "+".
