Things You'll Need
Instructions
Choose the game or games you want to use for the Wii tournament. The game should have set scores that will add up to specific placements. Examples include "Wii Sports," "Game Party" or the Coin Battles in "New Super Mario Bros. Wii."
Select the players for tournament. You can use single players or teams if you have eight or more players.
Set up the tournament structure. You can do a pyramid elimination tournament where each game is represented in a round or a points-based tournament with points awarded for each place. The points-based tournament allows everyone to play every game.
Use a dry erase board to set up the tournament score board. Create a grid for a points placed tournament. At the top, assign a player name to each slot and then the game title on the side slots. For an elimination tournament, randomly select players and write them on the left side of the board. Create slots for the winners and future rounds of the tournament until only two players remain.
Assign the tournament rules. Examples include no interfering while other players play, the wrist band must be worn and no cheat codes allowed. Ask other players for any additional rules and vote on whether they should be used.
Start the tournament. Keep things organized but remain fun. Serve snacks to players as they wait and keep an active tally of the scores.
