  1. Instructions On Reairing The Nintendo Wii

    • 1

Hit the ’re-try’ button several times, waiting between each attempt. If you are getting a 51130 error code on the screen, it should eventually start working.

    • 2

Change the router setting from 1 to 11 if you keep getting error codes 32002 or 52030. Alternately, temporarily disable the security system, or change it from WEP to WPA.

    • 3

Slap the Wiimote if it is not detecting motion. This is actually what Nintendo themselves recommend. This normally will start it working again, unless the sensor has become too loose in which case it will need to be re-secured inside the Wiimote.

    • 4

Unplug your Wii and let it sit for a moment if you keep getting a ‘disc not found’ or other disc reading message. If the Wii was jolted hard or dropped, this will sometimes fix the problem.

    • 5

Call the service center or visit the website for updated fixes as the company finds new bugs and figures out how to deal with them. They appreciate the heads up to any potential problem.
