How to Create a Wii Mii

Turn on your Wii Video game system.

When the main menu loads, the Mii Creator program will appear as the second icon in the top row. Aim your Wii remote towards this icon and press the A button on the remote.

Use your Wii Remote to press the start button that appears on the next screen. This will officially bring you into the Mii Creator.

You will now enter the Mii Plaza. This is the area where all of your Miis will explore and hang out. Look at the various icons to the left and find the one that features a Smiley face and a plus sign.

Aim your Wii remote at the icon with the smiley face and the plus sign. Press the A button to load the creator.

You will be given two options: Start From scratch and create a Look-a-like. Aim your remote and select the option that says “Start From Scratch”.

Select whether you want your Mii to be male or female.

Now you will be at the main panel to edit your Mii. The top of the screen shows different icons used to edit different sections of your Mii. The first section is the head shape and skin color.

Select one of the eight different shaped heads. There are various sizes and shapes and you can also select whether the Mii has rosy cheeks or not.

Aim your Wii Remote to the color panel at the right to select the skin tone. There are six different skin colors to choose from.

Select the hair style for your Wii. There are several different styles on multiple pages and this is where you adjust the color of the hair as well.

Select the eyebrow shape. This may not seem important, but the eyebrow shape can actually change the mood that your Mii appears to be in so look through these carefully.

Select eyes for your Mii. The designs may be simple, but the Mii creator has managed to cover several different shaped eyes. Use your Wii remote to place the eyes at different heights of the head and also different sizes. There are 48 different eyes to choose from and six different colors.

Choose a nose and mouth for your Mii. If you want a mouth to express some emotion then you can, and if you do not like it then you can always edit it later.

The last icon to the far right has different accessories you can add for the head such as face moles, glasses and hats.

Select the second icon from the left to adjust your Mii’s height and weight. This can make a difference in games like Tennis and Bowling.

Select the first icon to create your Mii’s profile.

In the profile editor, enter in the nickname, gender, birthday, favorite color, and other settings.

Select the Quit button and your Wii Mii has been created.
