Collect all five pull star pieces from above and under the six cups (the second cup doesn't have a star) in the Battlerock Barrage. Move through the level using the launch star, and avoid the cannon balls and electric fences.
Use the bomb on the saucer to break into the cage of the launch star cage. Launch yourself with the star to a planet next to the Luma who shoots another launch star.
Get through a field of mines and into a machine-type planet to break into the Battlerock. Jump up through the saucers in Topmaniac by the Topman Tribe watch out for the gravity pull.
Jump on the Topman to deactivate his spikes, then spin him into the electricity. Hit him a few times while defending against the electricity and his spikes. Complete the Topmaniac Daredevil Run by completing the challenge without taking a hit.
Collect all 100 purple coins in the galaxy. Make your way back through the galaxy dodging the cannons and collecting coins.
Move on to Battlerock's garbage dump. Gather starbits as you go to the colorful planet. Toss bombs at the gold emblems to get rid of the trash, but do it quick. You only have 30 seconds.
Rescue Luigi from the underside of the saucer. Get the Bullet Bill's attention, and go back to Luigi. The Bullet Bill blasts the cage and sets Luigi free.
