Things You'll Need
Instructions
Download and install the latest version of MyTunesRSS from the Codewave website (see Resources below). The download versions for Mac, PC and Linux can all be found on the front page of the site.
Start MyTunesRSS by double clicking on its icon. The first time MyTunesRSS runs it will begin syncing the "iTunes Music Library.xml" file. If you're using Windows Media Player instead, you can choose to configure your "My Music" folder as an alternate--although sticking with the iTunes xml file is likely easier.
Create a username and password in MyTunesRSS to log in to or out of the server when you want to listen to tunes. You can set it to automatically remember these entries to cut down login time in the future.
Start the MyTunesRSS server once you have completed creating your login information by clicking the "Start Server" button on the main screen.
Open a new Internet browser window and enter "http://127.0.0.1:8080" into the address field.
Return to the MyTunesRSS application and click the "Server Info" tab. There will be several web addresses listed in the box.
Jot down the bottom address in the list and keep it with you as you configure your Wii.
Start your Wii and head to the Internet Channel.
Click the "WWW" menu option to begin the web address entry process.
Enter the address you wrote down from the MyTunesRSS Server Info box.
Enter your login information once the page loads, and choose the "Remember Me" option so you don't have to repeat the process every time you want to listen to music. You can also save the address as a favorite. Once you log in, you're ready to stream to music from iTunes!
