Things You'll Need
Instructions
Stand so that you're oriented to the center of your Wii/television. This makes it easier to aim the ball as you release it. Proper form is important when you wish to bowl a strike.
Raise your hand in the air, holding the Wiimote straight up and down. This is the ideal neutral starting position, as it places the ball at the top of its momentum curve.
Press right or left on the controller to move your starting position off of the centerline. This is an important step because people will naturally curve the ball left or right depending on handedness (right for lefties, left for righties).
Press and hold the "B" button.
Pull your arm backwards as you would to throw the ball, as far as is comfortable. Some will say the farther back you pull it the better, but the fact is that the more important factor in determining the ball's speed/direction is the speed at which you throw and release it.
Release the "B" button when your arm is directly perpendicular to the ground. This is important because it prevents the ball from bouncing and losing speed/power as it heads down the alley.
Follow through on the motion, lifting your hand high as you release the ball, all in one fluid motion. As you do so, allow your hand to naturally curve in toward your body, but very slightly. This will put a spin on the ball that guides it toward the first pin and hopefully allows it to bowl a strike.
