Make every serve a power serve. If you swing down with your Wiimote at that perfect moment when your toss has peaked, the ball will rocket into your opponent's court at something like ten times the normal speed. Ace!
Play aggressively at the net, as that is where you will hit most of your winners. Most players who have passed the 2000 point mark use their front guy early and often. Hitting balls from the net consistently will tire out the back guy of the opposing team.
Hit the ball cross court. Not only are these shots hard to return, but you'll tire your opponent out as he makes a dash for it. And a tired opponent makes more unforced errors. Once you have them on the ropes, it'll be that much easier to volley a winner.
Be prepared to return your opponent's turbo serve by having your racket in position before she even takes a swing. Hitting a powerful return can have the ball back in normal play, which gives you a good shot at winning the point.
Return a volley with a volley. This can take the sting out of a potential winner and have the opponent playing your game. Be bold and play offensively to win a Wii tennis game.
Use the force to win a Wii tennis game. Take heart, young Padawan. At first your opponents will seem unflappable, but they will make mistakes if you stay focused and keep the ball in play long enough.
