How to Skip Past the Intro in Super Paper Mario

"Super Paper Mario" for the Nintendo Wii begins with a rather lengthy introduction. Your first Pixl, Tippi, will bring you to the town Flipside, the hub of the game. After you listen to Merlon tell you the story of the prophecy, he will ask you if you are ready to save the world. Accept the challenge, because if you deny Merlon three times, the game will end and you will have to play through the intro again. While you must play through the intro the first time, you can skip it during later play by reaching a save point.

     Accept the Pure Heart from Merlon. He will give it to you after you agree to help save the world.

     Place the Pure Heart in the Heart Pillar. Reach it by jumping off the left ledge. Once you activate it, a red door will appear.

     Run to the right until you reach an elevator. Take the elevator down one story.

   • 4

     Run to the left until you reach a save block and find another elevator. Save the game.
