How to Get Past the Bear in Tranquility for the Wii

In "Harvest Moon: Tree of Tranquility" for the Nintendo Wii, you must help rebuild a once-enchanted island town that is now facing serious trouble. There are many animals here that can be bred, owned and purchased, as well as wild animals that can be befriended and subsequently adopted. The mother bear is one such animal. In order to make her let you pass over Mt. Gelato, you must first earn her affection.

     Go to Brownie Ranch and purchase as much honey as you can afford. One jar costs 150 gold.

     Walk to Mt. Gelato, and then go halfway up the trail to find the mother bear.

   • 3

     Select "Honey" from your inventory to feed the bear a jar. Her affection level will increase.

   • 4

     Give her honey until her affection level reaches three hearts. The mother bear will then move out of your way.
