How to Get Past the Devil's Snare After the 3 Headed Dog in LEGO Harry Potter for the Wii

"LEGO Harry Potter," for the Wii, is an interactive adventure game that allows players to explore various events from the first four years of the "Harry Potter" universe. In their first year, Harry, Ron and Hermione must stop Professor Quirrell from obtaining the Sorcerer's Stone. In the chapter titled "Face of the Enemy," you will need to solve various puzzles and traps to get to Professor Quirrell. The Devil's Snare is one such trap, a plant that wraps around your characters and deals damage to them.

Instructions

  Follow Professor Quirrell into the room with the three headed dog. Jump down into the trap door that is open near the dog's feet, whereupon Ron will be caught immediately by the Devil's Snare plant.

  Swap to the Lumos Solem spell by pressing the "C" button and selecting the spell from the wheel.

  Target the concentrated thicket of vines, wrapped around a golden circle, and press "Z" to fire Lumos Solem at the Devil's Snare.

  Shoot Lumos Solem at the plant several times until it recedes and drops Ron. Destroy the remaining Devil's Snare in the same manner.

  After the Devil's Snare is completely gone, a hole in the ground will open up to reveal the path to the next room.
