How to Get Past the Spider Bot on Star Wars for the Wii

"LEGO Star Wars III: The Clone Wars" features a giant metallic spider creature in the middle of the first level. It's impossible to defeat this creature without using skills from both types of available characters. And it's one of a few large creatures that must either be tamed or defeated in this level. Once this creature has been weakened enough, you'll be able to jump on top of it and hit it where it's unprotected.

Instructions

- 1
  Play through the level "Geonosian Arena," until you watch a cinema scene where Mace Windu joins the fight in the arena. When the scene is over, a large spider-like creature appears with two metallic front legs.

  Attack the two front legs with your light saber. You will most likely be killed a few times while doing this, but keep at it until both metallic legs are destroyed. This exposes a grapple point on the front-right side of the creature.

  Switch to Padme Amidala, and press "Z" to use her grappling gun on the grapple point. This briefly restrains the creature, and a blue circle appears in front of it. Switch to any of the Jedi characters, and press the "C" button while standing in the blue circle, to jump onto the creature's back. Press "B" while you're up there, to swing your light saber at its exposed back.

  Repeat the attack from the previous step twice more, to defeat the creature. Once it's down, Jango Fett appears and tries to kill you.
