How to Make the Wii Work With HDMI

The Nintendo Wii will work with any television that has AV input jacks. When you are using multiple electronics on one television, you must hook these items up to different inputs. If you use only one input, you must remove each electronic and rehook up the other devices every time you wish to use them. One way to solve this problem is to plug the Wii into your HDMI input on your television and use other jacks such as the Component 1 for other electronics.

     Insert the AV and power cords into the designated jacks on the back of the Wii console.

     Plug the power into a nearby outlet.

     Plug the AV cords into the jacks labeled "HDMI" on the back of your television. Match the colored cords to the colored jacks on the television.

     Power on the Wii and TV and tune the television to the HDMI input. The Wii will then appear on your television.
