How to Get Different Pitching Styles on MLB Power Pros

"MLB Power Pros" is a cartoon-style baseball game for PlayStation 2 and Nintendo Wii that features almost all of the MLB players from the 2008 season. While playing through the various game modes, you earn points that can be spent in the game's Shop. In the Shop, you can purchase player cards, uniforms, batting stances and new pitching styles. There are five pitching styles that can be obtained from the Shop: overhand, three-quarters, submarine, unique and dual style. After purchasing the new pitches, you can apply them to created pitchers to give them a more unique feel.

     Press "Start" at the game's title screen and select "Shop."

     Press "R" on the Shop screen until "Pitching Forms" is selected if you are playing the game on the Nintendo Wii. If you are playing the game on the PS2, press "R1" until "Pitching Forms" is highlighted.

     Scroll down to highlight the pitching form you want to purchase.

     Press "A" if you are playing the game on the Nintendo Wii or "X" if you are playing the game on the PS2 to select the highlighted pitching form.

     Select "Buy" to purchase the new pitching form.
