How to Hook Up Netflix With Hardwire to the Wii

Netflix is a video rental service that allows users with high-speed Internet to stream movies through several media devices. One of the media devices that users can use to stream movies is the Nintendo Wii game console. By installing and configuring the Netflix application on a hardwired Wii, you will be able to stream movies from the Netflix Instant Queue library to your television.

  Select the "Wii Shop" channel from the Wii main menu using the Wii remote.

  Read the user agreement that displays, then agree to the terms and conditions found within.

  Enter you Nintendo Club membership information into the appropriate dialog boxes, then click "Link" if you have a Nintendo Club account. If you do not have an account, leave the boxes blank and select "Do Not Link."

  Choose "Wii Channels," then select "Netflix Instant Streaming for Wii."

  Select "Free 0 Wii Points" to download the application.

  Open netflix.com/activate on the web browser of your choice, sign into your Netflix account and enter the activation code displayed on your television. This will link your Wii to your Netflix account.
