"Wii Sports Resort" is a sports-simulation game in which players can participate in a number of island-themed game modes, such as volleyball or wakeboarding. One of the game modes, known as "Island Flyover" allows players to fly an airplane over the game's island setting. If you would like to find the island's resident whale, and receive the "Whale Watcher" location reward as well, you just need to know where to find him.

Begin the game, and select the "Island Flyover" option in the games menu to begin island flyover mode.

Fly your plane to the cluster of islands on the Northern part of the map.

Fly around the middle of the island cluster until the whale appears. At this point, you should receive the "Whale Watcher" location reward.
