How Do I Beat the Maze in LEGO Harry Potter?

During your journey through the hedge maze in "LEGO Harry Potter: Years 1 - 4," your senses will be deceptive. The directional oddities and frequent dead-end paths can make for a frustrating experience. You'll encounter this confusing area in the level "The Dark Lord Returns," which is Harry's final test in Story mode. To beat the hedge maze and locate the Triwizard Cup, you'll have to utilize Harry's spell-casting power to manipulate your surroundings. Once you've uncovered the correct path, you will earn the right to face off with the evil Voldemort.

Instructions

- 1
  Locate the four bushes around the pedestal in the middle of the first screen. Shoot them with your wand, then cast Wingardium Leviosa to reassemble them. Zap the armor and watch as it displays the direction you should go. Move through the exit to the right, then go left to advance.

  Cast the Immobilus spell on the pixies by the pedestal. Cast Wingardium Leviosa, then assemble the pieces and shoot the armor as you did in the first room. Go left, right and down to reach the next area.

  Cast the Lumos spell on the pedestal vines. Assemble the pieces and shoot the armor once again. This time, go right, left, down and up to proceed.

  Navigate through the next area by waiting for the moving walls to retract, then running by. When you see a pixie on the right side of the path, cast Immobilus to collect an arrow. Take the arrow to the post, then cast Wingardium Leviosa on it to reveal an opening to the next screen.

  Continue up and turn right when you reach the sphinx. Cast Wingardium Leviosa on the book to reveal some blocks, then cast the spell again to assemble a springboard. Hop on it to get over the right wall. Cast Lumos on the vines and Wingardium Leviosa on the two flies and the blocks by the sphinx. This will complete the maze and reveal a path to Voldemort and the Triwizard Cup.
