Instructions
Start the "Monopoly Streets" game and choose the board you want to play on. This brings you to the ̶0;Select Rule Set̶1; menu.
Press ̶0;A̶1; on the Wii remote, which means ̶0;New Rules.̶1; Press ̶0;1̶1; to continue. There are four different menus to change various aspects of the game: Game Setup Rules, Gameplay Rules, Board and Property Rules and Game Ending Rules.
Adjust the rules on the ̶0;Game Setup Rules̶1; menu. Here you can change starting cash, starting properties, auction timer length and use of speed dice. Use the up and down arrows on the remote to select an option, and use the right and left arrows to change it.
Push the ̶0;+̶1; symbol to move to the ̶0;Gameplay Rules̶1; menu. You can choose how many houses and hotels are available, whether they must be evenly built, and how many houses you have to buy before purchasing a hotel.
Press the ̶0;+̶1; symbol to proceed to the ̶0;Board and Property Rules̶1; menu. Manipulate the salary for passing Go, whether people get a double salary for landing on Go, payout for income and luxury taxes, payment for landing on Free Parking and the bail amount to get out of jail.
Use the ̶0;+̶1; symbol to navigate to the ̶0;Game Ending Rules̶1; menu. This menu determines the conditions under which a person wins. For example, the person who wins can be the last player left, have the most color groups or have the highest total worth. You can also set the game to end in a specific number of rounds.
Press ̶0;1̶1; to save your new rules and exit the ̶0;Rules̶1; menu. A keyboard will display with the title ̶0;Custom̶1; at the top. Press the ̶0;A̶1; button to exit if you want to keep this name.
Use the arrows to scroll down to the Backspace button if you want to delete the title to create your own name. Press ̶0;1̶1; multiple times until the entire word is deleted.
Spell out the title of your new rules by using the arrow keys to navigate to each letter. Press ̶0;1̶1; to select the letter.
Press ̶0;A̶1; when you finish. The menu will return to the ̶0;Select Rule Set̶1; menu, and you should see the title of the rules you just created as an option. Press ̶0;1̶1; to select it.
