How to Get Past the Sleeping Flower at the Gate in Alice in Wonderland for the Wii

Disney Interactive Studio's video game "Alice in Wonderland" for the Wii contains vivid cut scenes and plot lines inspired by Tim Burton̵7;s 2010 film. The plot involves characters from the film such as the White Rabbit, Mad Hatter and Cheshire Cat. Each character has special powers to help the player fight opponents, find objects and pass certain obstacles in the game. One such obstacle is Rosemary, the sleeping flower fused to a gate within the Strange Garden.

Instructions

    • 1

Press "A" on the Wii Remote to start the game. Use the Wii Nunchuck's control stick to move the White Rabbit to the small "Alice" door in the Round Hall. Press "B" to open it, proceed to the Strange Garden, and then move the cursor over the swinging gates. Press and hold "Z" to activate the White Rabbit's time power and freeze them in place, and then head down the path.

    • 2

Freeze the spinning signs along the way, and follow them toward a winged statue. Press "A" to climb the ladder onto it and illuminate a path through the maze. Continue on the path, find Alice and lead her back to the statue.

    • 3

Freeze the red root blocking the way and run away. When it vanishes, climb the ladder again to illuminate a path out of the maze. Follow the path to a sleeping flower guarding the gate to Mushroom Forest.

    • 4

Press "B" to attack the first red knight when he appears out of the heart vortex. Press "C" to switch characters to the Dormouse and defeat the other knights. When finished, switch back to the White Rabbit and press "B" to talk to the red rose.

    • 5

Approach Rosemary, the sleeping pink flower. After the White Rabbit sings a song to awaken her, press the "+" key to call Alice over. Activate the time power and rotate the controller counterclockwise to return Rosemary to her youthful self and unlock the gate.
