Hyrule Field (Lanayru Province)
Male Mantis - Located on the pillars at the north end of the bridge passing over Lake Hylia.
Female Mantis - Located on a rocky overpass on the southern wall, south from the Lake Hylia bridge.
Male Butterfly - Located in the pink flowers southeast of Castle Town's eastern exit.
Female Butterfly - Located on a ledge east of Castle Town's eastern exit. The clawshot is required to reach the bug.
Male Stag Beetle - Located in the northern portion of Hyrule Field, near a lone tree on the east side of the river.
Female Stag Beetle - Located in the northern portion of Hyrule Field, on a boulder along the right fork of the path leading to the mountains. The boomerang is required to capture the bug.
Male Ladybug - Located in the courtyard south of Castle Town. On the west side of the courtyard there is a large obstruction, the bug is on this.
Female Ladybug - Located in the courtyard south of Castle Town, in the eastern clump of three trees.
Hyrule Field (Eldin Province)
Male Phasmid - Located on the left pillar on the south end of the Bridge of Eldin. The boomerang is required to capture the bug.
Female Phasmid - Located on a cliff to the north of the Bridge of Eldin. The clawshot is required to scale the cliff, then walk west to find the bug. The boomerang is required to capture it.
Male Grasshopper - Located in the south central area of the field near Kakariko Village's north entrance.
Female Grasshopper - Located in the northeast portion of Eldin Province. It is hopping around in the field.
Male Pill Bug - Located south of the Kakariko Gorge Bridge on the right of the path.
Female Pill Bug - Located in the flowers near Kakariko Village's southern entrance.
Hyrule Field (Faron Province)
Male Beetle - Located in a tree southeast of the bridge crossing the stream.
Female Beetle - Located on a ledge on the west side of the field near one of the trees. The boomerang is required to capture the bug.
Other Locations
Male Ant - Located near the graveyard's northwestern tree.
Female Ant - Located inside a house on the west side of Kakariko Village.
Male Dayfly - Located in the south central portion of Gerudo Desert, flying around above the sand.
Female Dayfly - Located by a trench in the southeastern portion of Gerudo Desert near the pillars and treasure chest.
Male Snail - Located in the Sacred Grove in the cave. The boomerang is required to capture the bug.
Female Snail - Located in the temple of time to the left of the entry staircase. The boomerang is required to capture the bug.
Male Dragonfly - Located in Zora's Domain. Go up the hill to the west of the waterfall's base; it will be flying around the boxes.
Female Dragonfly - Located outside the boat rental store in Upper Zora's River. The boomerang is required to capture the bug.
