How to Leave the Castle in Epic Mickey

Mickey Mouse is a beloved children's character and is the star of many cartoons and video games. The Nintendo Wii platform game "Epic Mickey" takes the character and puts him in a more menacing environment, allowing players to guide Mickey through a perilous journey. The game begins with Mickey being held captive in a large castle. To progress through the game, you must first leave the castle to head to the next part of your adventure.

Instructions

- 1
  Stop at the point where you see a gear in the first stage of the game. This gear will control a gate that you will need to go through to leave the castle. Spin attack the gear and part of the gate will open. From this gear, jump down to the platform on the left. Spin attack the second gear to open the gate.

  Go down the ramp after the second gear and go toward the catapult. Jump on top of the purple gear next to the catapult and do a spin attack to lower the bucket. Choose whether you want to grab the treasure chest that has been revealed or rescue Calvin from the catapult. The choice here does not effect leaving the castle.

  Spin-attack Calvin and his cage will fall out of the bucket of the catapult. He will reward you with a "Gold Pin" that you will be able to use later in the game. If you do not want to rescue Calvin, you can run over to the treasure and grab it. Calvin will be flung away with the catapult, however, if you choose this route.

  Move over to the red door near the gate you opened in Step 1. Use your paint thinner on the door and you will be rewarded with a chest with another special pin inside. Once you have the pin, run through the gate and jump into the projector screen and you will leave the castle and be taken to the next level of the game.
