How to Fix the Paintings on Epic Mickey

In the Lonesome Manor section of "Epic Mickey," you must fix three paintings in the stretching room in order to advance. When fixed, these paintings depict a woman in a graveyard, a man standing on a TNT barrel and a group of explorers imperiled by piranhas. Like many quests in "Epic Mickey," there are two ways to approach this task. Both methods require you to navigate the large room by painting in the gears on the floor and spinning the center gear with your spin attack to move between levels.

Instructions

Fixing the Paintings Manually

  Spin the paintings on the bottom floor so that one depicts feet on a barrel, one depicts carved stone heads and one shows piranhas in the water. These are the bottom layers of each painting. Take note of the location of each painting.

  Paint one gear into the floor and spin the central gear, moving up to the second floor.

  Spin each of the paintings so the second part is in place. For the man on the TNT barrel, the second level should be polka-dot shorts; the woman's painting should show the middle of her body on a tombstone; the explorer painting should show the explorer with another man on his shoulders.

  Paint in another gear and go to the third floor. Here, you will notice the painting of the explorers is thinned out, with the "Mad Doctor" extra content behind it.

  Grab the "Mad Doctor" extra content, then restore the painting. You should also spin the painting of the woman on the tombstone until you see the section with the carved heads that made up the bottom of the painting. Thin this out, and grab the Gold Pin behind it.

  Restore the painting and spin each around until the top levels are in place. They should depict the man on the barrel's head, the woman's head and the top of the explorer. The door to the exit will appear.
Enlisting a Gremlin

  Paint in one gear and spin the center gear to get to the second floor.

  Thin out the painting of the man on the TNT barrel. Go into the space it reveals.

  Spin the gear and you will rotate to a hidden gremlin. Use your spin attack to free him and he will fix all three paintings, allowing you to continue.

  Return to the main room and paint in the second gear, then spin the center gear to get to the third floor.

  Spin the painting of the woman on the gravestone until you see the image of the stone heads. Thin it out so that you can grab the Gold Pin behind it. Thin out the explorer painting to find the "Mad Doctor" extra content before leaving this area.
