How to Play Pictionary on the Wii

The drawing game "Pictionary" for the Nintendo Wii makes use of the uDraw tablet, a device that allows users to write and draw images on your home console. The Wii version of "Pictionary" follows the same basic principles of the original game, requiring players to draw pictures that their teammates must interpret. However, the Wii version of the game has a number of additional features that make use of the console's capabilities, allowing you to play alone or with friends.

Instructions

    • 1

Place the Wii remote game controller in the designated slot on your uDraw tablet and turn on the controller and your console. Put the game in your Wii and select it from the "Home" menu.

    • 2

Select one of the three game modes. "Free Draw" is a simple drawing mode that allows you to draw whatever you like without restrictions. "Vanilla Pictionary" follows the standard rules of the game, and "Pictionary Mania" is the basic game with added challenges, such as being forced to draw your picture without looking.

    • 3

Flick the stylus across the tablet to roll the dice in either of the two game modes. This will move your character across the board and randomly assign you a card. Make sure that your team is not looking when the card appears on the screen.

    • 4

Draw a picture of the person, place, thing or idea on the card. Your drawing will appear on the television screen, and your teammates must guess what it is within a certain time limit. If you land on an "All Play" square, the other team can steal your points by guessing alongside your team.

    • 5

Receive a point after each correct guess. You win the game if your team has the most points at the end of the game.
