How Do I Get the Soul Hunter Jacket in Monster Hunter Tri?

In "Monster Hunter Tri" for the Nintendo Wii, you are tasked with traversing the huge lands and ridding the town people of the monsters, dragons and beasts that have been plaguing their villages. Customizing your weapons and armor is a big part of the game, but can take a lot of collecting in order to produce some of the high-end gear, such as the Soulhunter Jacket.

  Complete the Dual Diablos quest to receive the Soulhunter Tag. The Soulhunter Tag is one of two pieces you need to craft the Soulhunter Jacket. You can only gain it by completing the Dual Diablos Quest. To complete the quest, go to the Land Arena and accept the mission. You then have 50 minutes to capture two Diablos within the arena. Diablos are weak against sonic and seismic weapons in particular. Once you capture them, you will receive the Soulhunter Tag as well as a cash prize.

  Gather commendations by completing specific quests in Village and Loc Lac. Commendations are marks of exceptional bravery awarded for completing certain missions. They are the other half of the recipe for the Soulhunter Jacket, and you will need four. Complete Poached Wyvern Eggs and Heat Exhaustion missions in Village and Loc Lac to receive commendations.

  Hire a weaponsmith to craft your Soulhunter Jacket. Almost every town in the game has a weaponsmith you can hire to craft equipment from your loot. Once you have both the Soulhunter Tag and enough commendations, find the nearest weaponsmith and have him craft the jacket for the price of 15,000z. The Soulhunter Jacket grants you +2 defense against fire, ice, thunder, dragon and water. It also gives you the fortify ability, which adds +10 to your survival points.
