How to Fight Upper Rank Monsters in Monster Hunter 3

"Monster Hunter Tri," also known as "Monster Hunter 3," is an action RPG, or role-playing game for Nintendo Wii that is also . Up to two players can play in offline split-screen mode, or up to four players can hunt monsters cooperatively in online mode. Players start out fighting lower rank monsters, but it is possible to progress to more difficult upper rank monsters later in the game.

     Link your Wii to the Internet, as upper rank monsters can only be found online.

     Choose the "Go to the City" game option. Defeat enough lower rank monsters to reach Hunter Rank 31.

     Unlock four quests, and you have accessed upper rank monsters. Ask other hunters for assistance in fighting upper rank monsters, as they are much tougher than their lower rank predecessors.
