The Gremlins and the Carpets
Begin the Asian Boat Ride section of the Gremlin Village level.
Complete the broken bridge with your magic paint brush, and cross. Break the gear on the side of the pagoda to make climbing platforms emerge. Climb the pagoda, and at the top break open the cage holding Gremlin Braun, who will then start the area's boats moving.
Board one of the boats sailing toward the circular island. Jump onto the island and head to the top, and release Gremlin Herman.
Return to the area around the pagoda. Board a boat sailing toward the Magic Carpet Ride, and jump off when you reach the island.
Find the tall, square, wooden central shaft of the structure. Turn the gear on the far side: this opens a door in the shaft, revealing a caged Gremlin Sam inside. Break the cage to set him free and allow him to start the Magic Carpet Ride machinery.
Climb the gears up to the second floor and approach the edge that faces the pagoda. The magic carpets are in front of you, but are ghostly. Paint them to make them solid and start them moving.
