How to Kill the Animatronic Pirates in Epic Mickey

Within the jungle section of "Epic Mickey," you encounter robotic enemies known as Beetleworx Pirates. These pirates prove to be difficult competitors to defeat because they wear protective armor and move quickly. The trick is to catch them when they're vulnerable. For a greater chance at success, be sure you have plenty of health before going into battle.

Instructions

    • 1

      Hold down the "B" or "Z" button to spray a stream of paint thinner at the pirate. Continue removing his armor until he is exposed.

      Get close to the pirate to make him wind up for an attack. Run away as he furiously spins.

    • 3

      Jump and spin attack the pirate as he stumbles after spinning. Aim for the glowing green gem on his back.

    • 4

      Attack him the same way three more times to defeat the pirate.
