Description of the Hannah Montana: The Movie Wii Game

The Hannh Montana Wii game is based on the Hannah Montana movie. It allows players to travel through five chapters of gameplay, exploring settings and interacting with characters from the movie while completing various activities and quests. It is meant for ages 6 and up and is also available for PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360.
  1. Settings and Characters

    • Characters who appear in the Hanna Montana Wii game include Hannah's grandmother, Ruby, brother Jackson, father Robby Ray, best friend Lilly and crush Travis. Almost every chapter begins on Ruby's farm and moves on to places like the farmer's market for shopping, Meadow Hall for the benefit concert, and the fairgrounds for the conclusion. Players also spend a chapter at University, where Hannah finds a dance class for Jackson.

    Musical and Rhythm Games

    • Music and performance are a large part of the game. Like the movie, the game begins during a concert at the Staples Center in Los Angeles. As players make their way through the chapters they can sing, dance and play musical instruments like the drums, keyboard and guitar. There are 11 hit songs that can be performed in all --- including three new songs from the movie --- on six concert stages. Songs include Best of Both Worlds and Pumping Up the Party.

    Other Game Activities

    • Shopping is also a large part of the game. Clothes are given as rewards for helping friends, and tokens collected from completing quests can be used for shopping, with more items available for purchase as players progress in the game. Players can also design outfits and go clothes shopping for both Hannah and Miley, which allows them to customize and expand two complete wardrobes. Along with shopping, there are two scavenger hunts to complete, one on Ruby's farm and one at Jackson's university, and carnival games to play that are unlocked at the fairgrounds.

    How to Play

    • Tutorials are provided right in the Wii game for performances, scavenger hunts and shopping the first time the player engages in each activity. A tool called the "Z-Phone" is used to give the players messages about quests and navigation, and a pink arrow guides players during quests to important objects and people who can help them be successful.
