Instructions
Turn on the Wii console and press "A" on the Wii remote to move from the initial health-and-safety warning screen to the Wii menu, the screen that displays all your channels. Your time and date, according to the Wii console, is displayed in the middle beneath the rows of channels.
Select "Wii Options," which is located on the lower left side of the screen; its button is a circle that says "Wii."
Select "Wii Settings"; it is the option on the right that is emblazoned with a wrench.
Select "Calendar."
Select "Date," the first choice, and make sure that it is correct. If it isn't, click the up or down arrows that are located beneath and above the month, day and year until it is fixed. (If the date is correct, select "Back" on the lower left of the screen to go back to the previous screen.)
Select "Confirm" on the lower right; doing so takes you back to the "Calendar" screen.
Select "Time"; this takes you to a screen that displays military time. Use the up and down arrow keys to select the proper time.
Confirm the changes that you made; this will take you back to the calendar. You can now repeatedly select "Back" now until you arrive at the Wii menu, or you can press the "Home" button on your remote, which calls up a "Wii Menu" option that you can select as a shortcut.
Verify that you have entered the correct time and date by checking the Wii menu. The time is displayed as if it is a digital clock, without employing military time.
