How to Defeat the Spider Witch in Ghostbusters for the Wii

Nintendo's Wii is the first interactive console. Players use full body motions to control their game avatars. In "Ghostbusters: the Video Game," you can fire the proton beam and catch pesky paranormal critters with the containment trap. Near the end of the game, the Spider Witch invades the hotel. Use the techniques here to splat her and continue on to save New York City.

Bring Your Best Weapons

  Blast the Spider Witch with the Meson Collider. Its homing blasts will track her while she scurries about.

  Destroy her minions with your Shock Blast.

  Shoot the Stasis Stream at her webs when the Spider Witch climbs them. The Spider Witch takes more damage from falling than from your weapon blasts.

  Avoid her web balls. They can immobilize you.
Catching the Spider Witch

  Watch her. The Spider Witch runs a lot: climbing on webs, floors, walls and ceilings.

  Follow the Spider Witch to her general location. Use your PKE meter to get an exact fix on her.

  Return to the offensive. Blast her until she climbs a web, then use your Stasis Stream on the web again. This is your most effective attack.

  Avoid the Spider Witch when she feeds. She becomes temporarily invulnerable and her wounds partially heal.
- 9
  Continue shooting the webbing out from under the Spider Witch until her health reaches zero. Trap her human spirit form with the containment device.
