How to Use a Double Nintendo Dreamgear Fan Station

The dreamGEAR dual charging station for the Nintendo Wii comes with a solid base for the Wii console, two charging ports and storage space to keep extra Wii items. The charging replaces standard batteries and has matching lights and designs for the Nintendo Wii. Not only does the device charge controllers even when the Wii is not in use, setting it up is simpler than connecting the Wii console itself as it has only one cable to connect.

Instructions

    • 1

Disconnect the cords from the back of the Wii console and set the console aside.

    • 2

Clear out extra space about 3 to 4 inches on each side of where the console is positioned. This will leave plenty of room for the dreamGEAR device.

    • 3

Set down the base of the station. Set the Wii on the top of the base in the vertical position.

    • 4

Insert the plug adapter into the hole in the back of the base. Plug the other connection into the power output on the back of the Wii console.

    • 5

Set the Wii console back onto the adapter and reinsert the three Wii cables. Insert the Wii power cable into the open end of the dreamGEAR power adapter.

    • 6

Remove the batteries from two Wii remotes. Unpack and insert the two battery packs into the back of the Wii remote. Set aside the standard Wii battery pack covers. You can place them in the small storage unit on the left side of the base.

    • 7

Insert the two Wii remotes into the slots on the right outside of the base. The Wii remotes face outward and will click into place when settled. Look for a red charge light to turn on when you place the remote in the station. This means that the remote is active and charging. When the light turns blue, it is fully charged.

Pull the remote out of the slot and use it as your normally would with the Wii. Replace it back in the slot when finished playing.
