How to Get to World 8-7 on Mario Bros

The hidden World 8-7 in "New Super Mario Bros. Wii" is a roller coaster ride above a pit of deadly lava. To make it out alive, you'll have to stay on your toes as you guide Mario through the non-stop twists and turns throughout the level.

To get to World 8-7, you'll first need to locate the secret exit in World 8-2. Once you've emerged from the level, you'll be able to access World 8-7 from the World Map screen.

Instructions

  Begin World 8-2 by running to the right across the spinning hill. Hit the Brick Blocks along the way to collect some coins, and enter the pipe at the end. Hit the first "?" Block for a coin, then head to the top of the rotating hill for the next "?" Block and a Fire Flower. Jump the gap and kill the three Paragoombas. Avoid the spiked balls by timing your jumps along the hill, then leap to the safe spot on the ledge.

  Kill the Grand Goombas here, then get the coins from the Blocks at the bottom. Remain in this area to avoid the next spiked ball. Hit the "?" Block at the bottom for a Fire Flower, then jump to the red ledge above to avoid the giant spiked ball. Continue to the next red ledge and the first Star Coin.

  Jump to the red ledge and avoid the spiked ball. Leap over the gap to the Checkpoint Flag. Collect the coins above and continue to the next hill. Grab the coins here and leap to the Red Ring. Continue along the hills, jumping atop the first set of Brick Blocks. Grab the first six coins by leaping over the ledges, then grab the remaining two beneath as you avoid the Goombas. Claim your prize and head to the right.

  Hit the "?" Block and jump up to the Ice Flower. Watch the Goombas emerging from the pipes, then run through them and into the fake wall beneath. Collect the second Star Coin and return outside to climb the pipes. Avoid the spiked balls on the next hill by landing between them. Maintain the same speed as the spiked balls as you continue over the red ledges.

  Run to the left when you reach the three Brick Blocks at the end. Avoid the spiked balls and enter the fake wall to the left of the Blocks. Head through the tunnel between the red ledges and enter the pipe at the end. Jump across the hills when you emerge, using the red ledges to sustain your momentum. Grab and throw the POW Block, then drop left to collect the coins. Continue to the right, avoiding the Goombas emerging from the pipe. Jump to the red ledge and enter the green pipe. Leap across the three hills to the Red Finish Flag at the end.
