How to Get Every Character on Subspace in SSBB

"Super Smash Bros. Brawl" is a Wii fighting game that allows you to assume the role of numerous Nintendo characters. Subspace Emissary is the game's primary one-player mode. The plot leads you through platform stages, which contain hordes of enemies and challenging missions. As you play through this mode, you will recruit 35 characters to join your quest.

Instructions

  Defeat Petey Piranha on "Stage 1: Midair Stadium" to recruit Kirby and either Princess Peach or Princess Zelda (depending on which one you save from Petey).

  Clear "Stage 2: Skyworld" to recruit Mario and Pit.

  Complete "Stage 4: The Jungle" to recruit Diddy Kong.

  Defeat Bowser in a duel on "Stage 6: The Lake" to recruit Fox.

  Defeat Porky on "Stage 7: The Ruined Zoo" to recruit Lucas and Pokemon Trainer.

  Clear "Stage 8: The Battlefield Fortress" to recruit Ike and Metaknight. Marth, a swordsman from the "Fire Emblem" franchise also will be unlocked.

  Complete "Stage 9: The Forest" to recruit Link and Yoshi.

  Reach the end of "Stage 10: The Research Facility (Part I)" to recruit Zero Suit Samus and Pikachu.

  Enter the golden door at the end of "Stage 18: The Swamp" to access Falco, a pilot from the "Star Fox" series. Be prepared to battle a giant version of Diddy Kong near the end of the stage.

  Defeat Ridley on "Stage 19: The Research Facility (Part II)" to unlock Samus's power suit.

  Clear "Stage 20: Outside the Ancient Ruins" of all enemies to recruit Donkey Kong, Captain Falcon and Olimar. Captain Falcon, a bounty hunter and race car driver from "F-Zero" also will be unlocked.

  Climb to the top of the mountain on "Stage 21: The Glacial Peak" and defeat Lucario, a creature from "Pokemon" in a dual. Afterward, Ice Climbers and Lucario will join your roster.

  Defeat evil versions of Peach and Zelda on "Stage 23: Battleship Halberd Interior" to access Snake, the protagonist of the "Metal Gear" series.

  Clear "Stage 24: Battleship Halberd Exterior" to recruit whichever princess you didn't rescue on the first stage.

  Clear "Stage 25: Battleship Halberd Bridge" by defeating Duon, a giant, two-headed robot. Afterward, Mr. Game and Watch, a comical, two-dimensional man, will join your roster.

  Defeat Meta-Ridley in less than two minutes on "Stage 27: The Subspace Bomb Factory (II)." Afterward, R.O.B., a battle robot, will become accessible.

  Complete "Stage 29: Subspace (I)" to recruit Bowser and King Dedede.
  
  Luigi, from the "Super Mario" series, and Ness, the hero of the "Earthbound" series also will become accessible.

  Collect the Link and Zelda trophies on "Stage 30: Subspace (II)" to unlock Ganondorf, the antagonist of the "Legend of Zelda" series. Wario also will join your quest.

  Collect all of the trophies on "Stage 31: The Great Maze" and defeat Taboo to unlock Sonic the Hedgehog, Sega's mascot.

  Return to "Stage 9: The Forest" and enter the red door near the beginning of the level. After you defeat Toon Link in a duel, the younger version of Link will join your roster.

  Return to "Stage 14: The Ruins" and navigate the stage until you find a red door at the bottom of the chasm. Wolf, an antagonist from the "Star Fox" series will join your roster after you defeat him in battle.
- 22
  Return to "Stage 18: The Swamp" and enter the floating red door. After you defeat Jigglypuff, a Pokemon, she will join your roster.
