Use "A" and "B" to perform strong grapple moves on opponents. For example, larger wrestlers will perform suplexes or bodyslams.
Hold the analog stick while pressing "A" and "B" to cling to your opponent and drag him to an area. Bring him to the center of the ring ropes to place him on the rope and perform the move. If you are in a specialty match, drag the wrestler to a cage, table or ladder to perform weapon moves.
Press "C" and the analog stick to run near a wrestler. Press "A" to perform a quick attack, like a clothesline or "B" to perform a more complicated grapple, like a spear, hurricarana or a spinning DDT.
Pick up weapons with "Z." Swing them at an opponent with the "A" button. Use the analog stick and "C" to run at an opponent, then tap "A" to perform a running weapon attack.
Use the analog stick to push yourself against the ropes until your wrestler leans on them. Press "A" to perform a move using the ropes. For example, Chris Jericho will perform a springboard flip onto his opponent.
Press "C" and "Z" to Irish whip an opponent across the ropes. Press "B" when they come at you to perform a quick grapple. Press "A" to hit them and knock them down.
Use the Irish whip to throw your opponent over the top rope. As they stand on the outside apron, press "B" to suplex them back in or "A" to knock them to the arena floor.
Press "C" and "Up" on the analog to climb a corner turnbuckle. Use directional arrows and "B" to perform various moves. Examples include moonsaults, elbow drops and flying clotheslines.
Press "A" and "B" to perform a signature move or finisher. When your wrestler has earned a signature move, an "S" will appear. When there is a finisher stored, the meter will flash and a "F" will appear.
