How to Get Your Sim to Get Married in Sims 2: Castaway for Wii

The Sims 2: Castaway is a game available for the Nintendo Wii. The game is based with your Sim character on a deserted island, which is a big difference from the typical neighborhood-style Sim games. Since money, or Simoleans, do not matter on a deserted island, your Sim will have to rely on natural resources to survive. One similarity between the typical Sims and the Sims 2: Castaway game is that your Sims can still fall in love and get married to another Sim.

Traditional marriage beanie

Instructions

- 1
  Craft a workbench. You will need to collect driftwood to craft your workbench. Go to the two large rocks on the island and select "Build Workbench." This workbench is required to make the Wedding Lei and the Traditional Marriage Beanie.

  Craft the Wedding Lei item in the Sims 2 game. You must make this item in the game from your resources. This item requires five white hibiscus plants to make. Once you have collected your five white hibiscus plants from the island, go to the workbench and craft the Wedding Lei.

  Obtain the Traditional Marriage Beanie item in the Sims 2 game. You must make this item in the game from your resources. This item requires seven white hibiscus plants to make. Once you have collected your seven white hibiscus plants from the island, go to your workbench and craft the Wedding Beanie.

  Raise your Social Status in the game to 100. This is the maximum level of social status.

  Place the Traditional Wedding Beanie on your male Sim character. Place the Wedding Lei on your female Sim character.

  Have one Sim propose to the other by using your "Romantic" action options. If the two Sims are in love, "Propose Marriage" will be an option. If for some reason your Sim denies the marriage proposal, raise your Social Status back to 100 and propose again. The marriage will automatically take place after the proposal is accepted.
