How to Get the EX Rank in Pokemon Rumble

"Pokemon Rumble," or "Pokemon Scramble" in Japan, was released for the Nintendo Wii via WiiWare. There are three modes in "Pokemon Rumble:" Normal, Advanced and EX. The first two modes are divided into different grades: C, B, A and S. EX Mode is the most difficult and can only be obtained by completing the other modes. EX Mode also includes rare Pokemon that can only be obtained through this mode.

     Complete the six areas in the C grade of the Normal mode. Win the Battle Royale to complete the grade. Repeat this process with grades B, A and S.

     Defeat Mewtwo to finish Normal mode.

     Repeat Step 1 in the Advanced mode.

     Defeat Mewtwo a second time to advance to EX Mode.
