How to Get All 5 Stars on Your Profile in Super Mario Bros for the Wii

You can beat "New Super Mario Bros. Wii" by simply running through levels and defeating Bowser, but players that go the extra mile to find secrets and unlock alternate pathways are rewarded with up to five stars displayed on their game profile. You need to find every Star Coin, locate all secret exits and visit every location in the game, however, to get a five star game profile.

Instructions

  Unlock all the levels for World Nine. Every level in "New Super Mario Bros. Wii" contains three Star Coins. Collecting all the Star Coins for a given world will unlock a new level in World Nine. Collect all star coins on all levels from World One to World Eight to unlock the World Nine levels.

  Complete your Star Coin collection by getting all the Star Coins found on the eight levels in World Nine.

  Find all secret exits. Some levels contain secret exits that open up alternate pathways on the map when you travel through them. You need to go through all the secret exits before you can get five stars on your game profile.

  Visit every location in the game. Make sure you go to all the Mushroom Houses and each canon at least once in addition to all the levels.

  Save your game and go back to the title screen to view your profile. Your profile should now have five stars on it if you have collected all Star Coins, found every secret exit and visited every location.
