How to Get to the Howling Tower in Super Mario Galaxy 2

The Howling Tower in "Super Mario Galaxy 2" is in the Boo Moon Galaxy, which is the fourth galaxy of the fifth world. Players will have to travel through all proceeding stages of the fifth world before reaching the Howling Tower. The stage Silver Stars Pop-Up comes right before it and must be completed to get to the Howling Tower. Silver Stars Pop-Up is a dark labyrinth of mazes and twisting halls.

Instructions

  Travel to World 5 and begin in the Space Storm Galaxy.

  Complete the Space Storm Galaxy, Slipsand Galaxy and Shiverburn Galaxy then enter the Boo Moon Galaxy.

  Begin the Silver Stars Pop-Up stage, making your way through the secret passage through the bookcase at the start. This will take you to the launch star to proceed to the next area.

  Use the pink platforms to get across the pool of sludge. This area has ghosts patrolling which cannot be defeated, but you can make them disappear for a shot period of time by using the spin attack. Make your way to the opposite side of the sludge pool to the launch star.

  Use the launch star to get the five star pieces on the moon, then launch to the final part of the stage.

  Hit the switch on the ground to use the "Pop-Up" feature on the map, allowing you to collect the rest of the silver stars. This will complete the Silver Stars Pop-Up stage and you will then move onto the Howling Tower.
